Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team as an Independent Reviewing Officer and Child Protection Conference Chair. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Children's Social Work setting and will be responsible for preparing, producing, implementing, and evaluating plans with individual children, families, carers, and professional colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legislation related to children in need, child protection plans, pathway plans, and children looked after. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate easily to and support children and young people to participate in their review meetings.
The role will involve working closely with the team to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The successful candidate will be required to hold a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
