About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Net Zero Energy Business. This position will be based in Glasgow, Bristol, or Stockton, with a flexible mix of home-working and office/site collaboration time expected. We welcome applicants wishing to work part-time.

Your Purpose

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects, from optioneering through to detailed design. You will also supervise, develop, and mentor others, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects, including design phases and project delivery.
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor junior colleagues to ensure their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver projects that meet their expectations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (MEng/MSc) qualified Mechanical Engineer.
  • Chartered Engineer and a member of IMechE is desirable.
  • Strong technical background, with experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., power, chemical, oil & gas).
