Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Engineer - Gas Oil LPG to join our team at Liberty. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient servicing, repairing, and maintenance of domestic heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake the servicing, repairing, and maintenance of domestic heating systems in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and safety by providing excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Participate in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs, as required.
  • Work to operational procedures, safe working practices, and health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report all accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards to management.
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit, as required.
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers to meet their needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  • GAS mandatory/LPG/OIL qualifications.
  • UNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of gas legislation.
  • Full driving license.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice.
  • Ability to manage own time and workload.
  • Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service.
