Tata Steel is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Operations team at the Steelpark site in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Lead preventative maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to track and record work activities, including reporting and recording of maintenance and repair details
  • Support the development and implementation of processes that comply with Tata Steel's Health and Safety Management System

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade or a recognized apprenticeship
  • Proven track record of electrical maintenance and fault finding in a heavy engineering or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of current health and safety regulations and ability to adapt to new equipment
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and develop
