Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Visitor Team Lead to join our team in East Renfrewshire. As a key member of our Children's Nursing Service, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and operational management to deliver high-quality clinical care to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, and delivery of clinical care services for children and families in East Renfrewshire.
  • Provide operational management and supervision to health visiting teams and clinical support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of health visiting services and promote the wellbeing of children and families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the health and wellbeing of children and families.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with the NMC and a qualification in Health Visiting or Public Health Nursing.
  • Proven experience in leadership and people management, with a track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Strong knowledge of Scotland's Public Health agenda, including Getting it Right for Every Child, The Promise, and the Children and Young People's Act 2014.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond positively to change.
