We are seeking an exceptional leader to develop and lead our Clinical Governance strategy across our award-winning charity. As our new Clinical Governance Director, you will be responsible for creating and managing clinical support frameworks, providing expertise and leadership in clinical governance, quality assurance, and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement clinical governance strategy and national and local initiatives to improve clinical support and quality of care
- Lead and role model team culture that stimulates innovation, positive risk-taking, self-reflection, adaptability, and continuous improvement
- Deputise for the Chief Quality and Risk Officer when required and support the development of regular review of incidents and learning reviews
- Network across the sector, including benchmarking and collaborative projects to enhance quality of clinical governance
- Develop a culture of high-quality customer care based on best practice in the social, health, and commercial sectors
- Oversee the identification and management of clinical risk and lead on all safeguarding policy matters
- Act as the Charity's Caldicott Guardian and continually seek to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of services
- Relevant health, allied health, or social work professional qualification (such as nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language, social worker)
- Current professional registration (such as NMC, HCPC)
- Experience in managing complex change processes while maintaining sustained improvement on performance
- Current knowledge of CQC and CI regulations, frameworks, and inspection process
- Deep sector knowledge of the care sector, including regulatory and contractual frameworks and relevant legislation
- Competitive salary: up to £85,000 plus £5,000 car allowance per annum
