Job Summary

We are seeking an E-Commerce Sales Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving our online sales through the development of our e-commerce sites. You will set and achieve sales targets, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure our content is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO) purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Ensure our e-commerce content is optimized for SEO purposes.
  • Manage and maintain our e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Source and benchmark new and existing product lines with our supplier network.
  • Project manage e-commerce projects to achieve platform objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key e-commerce metrics, including sales, traffic, and customer engagement.
  • Review and forecast stock levels to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Design and create visual content, including banners and product images, to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain and update our e-commerce sites with new products, best sellers, and special offers.
  • Ensure our customer relationship management (CRM) system is up to date and all customer complaints are logged and resolved.
  • Maximize and improve SEO, picture, and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to enhance online visibility.
  • Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies.
  • Perform market research to benchmark and introduce new products.
  • Manage projects for current and new internal websites across the business.
  • Ensure retail pricing and margins are within company guidelines.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience, handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Focus on setting and achieving sales targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, e-commerce, website marketing, SEO, PPC, project management, and e-commerce software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve set key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • IT literacy, experience with Microsoft Office, and business administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for customer experience, analytical skills, and up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce trends.
