Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Logistics Training Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our drivers, ensuring they perform their duties safely and responsibly. The successful candidate will be based on-site and will take on additional responsibilities, including:
  • Facilitating comprehensive driver training programs
  • Coaching and mentoring drivers
  • Delivering Driver CPC training
  • Conducting assessments and audits

Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Training Specialist, your primary duties will include:
  • Conducting driving assessments for both new and existing drivers.
  • Delivering Driver CPC Training sessions.
  • Providing support for on-route learning and familiarization with delivery points.
  • Monitoring Tachograph infringement trends and offering necessary training.
  • Coaching on safe driving practices and fuel efficiency.
  • Mentoring candidates in various training schemes.

Essential Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A full and current Category C+E driving license with a minimum of three years' experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues.
  • A thorough understanding of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph legislation.
  • Knowledge of the Road Transport Working Time Directive (RTWTD).
  • Willingness to deliver Driver CPC training.
  • Proficiency in the English language and basic computer skills.
  • A professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet business needs.
  • A commitment to personal development and best practices.

Working Hours:
Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday - PM Shift

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, weekly pay, 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), a comprehensive benefits package, and a company pension scheme.
