About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute new construction and alteration projects within your expertise, both during standard working hours and on an as-needed basis.
  • Carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement activities across our facilities, adhering to all safety protocols and standards set by the organization.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple trades within the Estates department, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Strictly adhere to Health Technical Memorandums (HTMs) governing various aspects of healthcare infrastructure, including water supplies, sterilization, heating and ventilation, and more.
  • Comply with our Permit to Work (PTW) systems for potentially hazardous tasks, ensuring the safety of both personnel and the public by securing work areas and providing clear warning signage.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for work in hazardous environments, implementing all necessary safety measures to prevent accidents and damage to equipment.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation to promptly address emergency repairs outside of regular working hours. Be prepared to perform tasks beyond your primary trade during these periods.
