Position: Senior Bartender

Compensation: £15.55 per Hour (including Tronc) plus Additional Tips & Benefits

Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday with Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off

Venue Hours: Late Night Lounge open until 3:00 AM Thursday to Saturday

Your Role:

As a Senior Bartender at Sweeties, you will be responsible for delivering an extensive range of beverage services, transitioning from sunset cocktails to vibrant late-night lounge experiences.

Your profound understanding of the latest trends in the London bar scene will enable you to craft an atmosphere that not only delights our guests but also surprises them, ensuring an unforgettable late-night experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a passion for service, showcasing a comprehensive knowledge of bar operations and service protocols.
  • Demonstrate a deep appreciation for cocktails, spirits, champagne, and fine wines to guide guests in their selections.
  • Create and mix a variety of signature cocktails while also preparing classic drinks, adding a unique flair to the guest experience.
  • Act as a welcoming host, ensuring guests feel valued and engaged during their visit.
  • Thrive in a high-energy environment, managing multiple tasks and guest interactions with ease.
Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Senior Bartender is essential. You should possess a natural talent for service and the ability to foster genuine relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and desires.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Experience in a busy bar, lifestyle boutique hotel, or destination cocktail venue.
  • A confident understanding of bar operations and service, with knowledge of both classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • A proactive and social demeanor, maintaining professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
  • Preferred experience in opening shifts and familiarity with Squirrel EPOS systems, though training will be provided.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evening shifts and weekends, as the venue operates under a late-night license.
