Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a permanent Administrative Support Specialist located at Caley Court Resource Centre.
Working Hours:
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday & 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday (37 Hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
You will deliver a comprehensive, confidential administrative and secretarial service to the North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (NADARS).
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should possess 'O' Grade / Standard Grade Credit / National 5 qualifications in English and Maths, along with an SVQ Level III in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
A recognized IT qualification is also required, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
Advanced keyboard skills, proven experience in secretarial duties, minute-taking, electronic filing systems management, and electronic diary management are essential.
Experience within an NHS environment and familiarity with NHS interdisciplinary networks are advantageous.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Maintaining strict confidentiality is crucial. The ability to work independently, using your initiative, is essential, as is the capacity to manage challenging deadlines by organizing and prioritizing your workload while adapting to changes and last-minute demands.
