About the Role

The Banquet Sous Chef will play a key role in the success of our culinary team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the banqueting kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. As a seasoned chef with a passion for management, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the work of your team to deliver high-quality food and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the banqueting kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Plan and organize menus, food preparation, and presentation to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Control food costs and production to minimize waste and maximize profitability
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for innovation and creativity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality
