Job Summary:

The Priory Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team at The King Alfred School Academy. About the Role:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and productive learning environment, fostering strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas, contributing to the school's mission to deliver exceptional education.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on curriculum developments, and contribute to the school's commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, and ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
