Job Purpose

To provide technical support to the manufacturing and test departments, and collaborate with the Design Engineering team on the implementation of new products, writing test specifications and reports. This role is expected to last approximately 6 to 12 months to support an ongoing project, with regular reviews throughout the term.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the manufacturing and test departments
Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in electronic engineering, preferably with experience working in an electronic test facility and sub-assembly build knowledge. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with Railway/Rolling Stock electronics development, control systems, and test specification writing.

Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in electronic design and development environments
  • Proficiency in Electronic CAD systems, such as Altium PCB Designer and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of design for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • Experience with National Instruments Lab View platform

  • Proficiency in commonly used office applications and tools, including Microsoft Office
