About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hub Maintenance Engineer to join our Evri Rugby Hub Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hub's cutting-edge equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our Beumer Sorters, Interroll Sorters, Carousel conveyors, Caljan and Sovex boom Conveyors, SEW MOVIMOT drives, Profibus and Asi-bus systems, and other equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to machine minders and other team members as needed, ensuring that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Planned Maintenance: Assist in planning and detailing maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that downtime is minimized.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures, and take an active role in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with operational management, machine minders, and other stakeholders to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and that any issues are addressed promptly.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A qualification in an engineering discipline (e.g. City & Guilds) or equivalent experience and skills.
  • Experience: Experience in automation, electrical, and mechanical maintenance, with a strong understanding of PLCs, programming units, and distributed I/O systems.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
