We are on the lookout for a proficient and experienced Technician to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will possess substantial expertise and practical experience in the upkeep and repair of heavy goods vehicles or plant machinery.

Comprehensive training on specialized equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and plant machinery.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
  • Perform thorough inspections to guarantee the safety and functionality of vehicles and machinery.
  • Maintain detailed records of all tasks completed, including parts utilized and time allocated for each job.
  • Effectively communicate with clients to clarify repair and maintenance processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HGV Plant Technician or in a comparable position.
  • Extensive knowledge of HGV systems, encompassing engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Expertise in the maintenance and repair of plant machinery.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative spirit.
  • Relevant qualifications in automotive or plant technology.
  • Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred).
