Neuro Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our team on the Acute Stroke Unit at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to patients with stroke and neurological conditions. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, rehabilitating, and discharging patients to appropriate pathways.
You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care, while also supporting and supervising junior staff members. Your strong communication and leadership skills will be vital in ensuring seamless collaboration and effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for patients with stroke and neurological conditions.
- Provide high-quality therapy services, including assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, including therapy support workers and students.
- Contribute to the development of our therapy services, including service improvement initiatives and audit activities.
- Diploma/degree in occupational therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Evidence of regular and relevant continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
- Membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
- Attendance at recent relevant postgraduate courses.
