Quarry Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Manager to lead our Northlasts Quarry operations in Peterculter, Aberdeen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of the quarry, in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the quarry team, promoting a culture of health and safety excellence and driving continuous improvement.
• Operational Planning: Develop and implement effective operational plans, ensuring the efficient use of labor, plant, and materials to meet production targets.
• Quality and Productivity: Ensure the quality and productivity of material production, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Financial Management: Monitor and control costs, ensuring the quarry operates within budget and meets financial targets.
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with other departments, including sales and distribution, to ensure customer demand is met and satisfaction is achieved.
• Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quarry management or a related field.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday.
• Weekend availability may be required.
