About the Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sugarman Health & Wellbeing. The successful candidate will work with a female service user who requires a consistent and experienced staff team.

The ideal candidate will have an inspiring attitude to promote bespoke care and be willing to join and support activities daily. The service user enjoys animals, arts and crafts, baking, and has recently started boxing techniques at home.

As a Support Worker, you will become an essential part of the existing care team, working together to build new skills and trust with the service user. You will need to be active and willing to engage in activities that promote the service user's well-being.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support. If you have a caring and empathetic approach, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent and experienced support to the service user
  • Engage in activities that promote the service user's well-being and interests
  • Work collaboratively with the existing care team to build new skills and trust
  • Support the service user in their daily routine and activities

Requirements:

  • Female applicants only
  • Drivers preferred
  • Experience working with mental health and learning disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £15 per hour (Enhanced hourly rate on all Bank Holidays)
