Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic and business planning advice to Service Line and Care Group Management teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to Service Line and Care Group Management teams to ensure cost-effective decision making.
  • Investigate complex financial queries and carry out regular analytical reviews of Service Line financial positions.
  • Interpret financial data and provide advice on financial risks to ensure budgets are achievable and owned by Service Line Managers and Budget Holders.
  • Assist and advise Service Line Management Teams in the execution of plans to achieve performance targets set out in the Trust's Annual Plan.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Service Line financial information relating to service line reporting and reference costs.

Requirements
  • CCAB or equivalent Professional Qualified Accountant with current registration and relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent level of numeracy and ability to deduce key points from large/highly complex volumes of data.
