We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Wharfedale Urgent Treatment Centre in Otley, Leeds. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

The Advanced Practitioner will work independently, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with primary and urgent care needs. You will also provide clinical mentorship and leadership to trainee and peer practitioners within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients with primary and urgent care needs
  • Provide clinical mentorship and leadership to trainee and peer practitioners
  • Participate in audit, data collection, and activity monitoring to improve performance and inform future service developments
  • Proactively report patient safety incidents and respond to quality team requests for information
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, review, and evaluation of clinical protocols
  • Develop own skills and competencies through education, training, and development activities
Requirements:
  • Current registration with HCPC, NMC, or GPhC
  • Experience of working in primary and urgent care
  • Ability to pass pre-employment health assessment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health agenda and health inequalities
