Depot Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Depot Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our depot operations, supporting both transport and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and reconcile automated payments for self-employed drivers.
  • Oversee the inventory management of uniforms and stationery supplies.
  • Conduct driver license and forklift truck certificate verifications.
  • Administer fuel stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Carry out local operational quality audits and maintain comprehensive operational reports.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records, including keys, service schedules, and defect/repair logs.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role. Experience within the transport or logistics industry is advantageous but not essential.

  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of quality assurance and auditing principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, including a confident telephone manner and a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Proficiency in G Suite or Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated accuracy, self-motivation, and organizational abilities.
