Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Website Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our dynamic website. You will work closely with the Website Product Owner and testers in a collaborative scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the website project team to develop cutting-edge systems for Logistics UK.
- Utilize your expertise in design, coding, testing, and maintaining these dynamic systems.
- Accurately estimate development efforts to ensure efficient project planning.
- Play a key role in analyzing and resolving defects and issues, contributing to a seamless user experience.
- Actively participate in Scrum Ceremonies as part of a small SCRUM team.
- Provide expert 3rd line support for WordPress and PHP applications.
- Contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Adhere to Logistics UK's development policy and Security guidelines while developing robust systems.
- Record bugs, user stories, and tasks using Azure DevOps.
- Utilize Git within Azure DevOps for efficient source control of all code projects.
- Create automated builds and releases using Microsoft's Azure DevOps.
- Occasionally participate in out-of-hours releases to ensure seamless deployment of updates.
Requirements
- Possess SFIA plus Level 3 or above.
- Proficient in designing, coding, testing & maintaining moderately complex systems.
- Expert in WordPress development.
- Proficient in PHP.
- Proficient in MySQL and phpMyAdmin.
- Ideally, have experience integrating with Moodle Applications.
- Passionate about both coding and creating enterprise-level solutions.
- Knowledgeable in Unit Testing, including PHPUnit.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
