Davies Group is seeking to hire a seasoned Casualty Claims Specialist to enhance our expanding Casualty division.
This position is ideal for a Claims Adjuster or investigator looking for a new opportunity, who is driven and can showcase the capability to acquire the necessary expertise and knowledge.
This role is Home Based, managing cases across Scotland, thus travel within this region is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers
- Conduct thorough investigations of assigned claims, either in the field or remotely
- Gather all pertinent evidence and relevant documentation
- Draft Preliminary Reports that outline the available evidence and provide insights on
- Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Strategy
- Identify suitable actions for case resolution
- Negotiate settlements or defend claims as appropriate, within established authority limits
- Communicate professionally with all parties to ensure proactive progression of the case
- Investigate and manage all cases in line with client specifications by adhering to documented procedures
- Maintain accurate reserves through regular reviews
- Stay informed on any technical changes relevant to your role, including participating in training programs provided by the company
- All staff are expected to perform any reasonable instructions given by their line manager, in alignment with business needs.
