Consultant Psychiatrist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and adolescents with mental health issues, working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular ward rounds and provide medical care to patients on the inpatient unit.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child and adolescent mental health.
- Provide education and training to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register or Specialty Trainees within 6 months of completing their CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.
