About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Portfolio Manager to join our team at City Recruitment Associates in London. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of litigation finance and the ability to manage client relationships within an existing portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships within an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to ensure the smooth functioning of our Litigation Finance Team.
- Track client case and finance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Identify further opportunities for business within the portfolio, developing and executing strategies to drive growth.
- Write investment reviews and present them to the investment committee, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, including landmark cases and market remediation schemes.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in either a law firm or litigation finance business.
- Strong knowledge of the Group and GLO litigation process.
- Ability to conduct and lead, drawing on wider expertise as needed.
- Law degree or undertaking either the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) or the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
Desirable Skills:
- Attention to detail, with a focus on precision in financial monitoring and reporting activities.
- Proactivity, with a willingness to seek out and address potential problems before they develop.
- Independence, with the ability to operate efficiently with little oversight.
- Fast learner, with the ability to quickly adjust to new procedures, tools, and systems.
