Litigation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Executive/Legal Counsel - Litigation Manager to join our strong and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee a team of Litigation Paralegals and achieve individual, departmental, and business targets while protecting investor returns.
- People management, including individual performance management, coaching, setting targets, and tracking performance.
- Manage a caseload, negotiate Insolvency and Litigation matters, and ensure cost spends are managed and recovery of costs achieved.
- Draft and file court documents to commence and conclude formal recovery action on behalf of investors.
- Draft and negotiate security documents, such as charges and deeds of priority, and settlement agreements.
- Liaise with external panel firms regarding issues and cases.
- Provide legal support to the Litigation Manager, Collections and Recoveries team, and the wider business/stakeholders.
- Proactively problem-solve, identify, and mitigate risks, issues, or control weaknesses.
- Experienced Litigator/Debt Collection Manager with Commercial/Financial Litigation experience and strong technical legal skills.
- Operational leadership and management experience, including team leadership and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high self-awareness, confidence, and resilience.
- Able to make and follow through on difficult decisions.
- Excellent negotiator with business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Insolvency experience is desirable.
