About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at MatchaTalent. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our environmental sustainability initiatives in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Sustainability Leadership
    • Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies and plans to minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
    • Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for environmental sustainability improvements.
  • Environmental Performance Management
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure environmental sustainability performance.
    • Conduct regular environmental performance reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate environmental sustainability initiatives and progress.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations to stay informed about environmental sustainability best practices.
    • Collaborate with external partners to identify and implement opportunities for environmental sustainability improvements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 10 years of experience in environmental sustainability roles in the oil and gas industry.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing environmental sustainability strategies and plans.
    • Experience with environmental management systems, such as ISO 14001.
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
