Automotive Production Site Leader

Siamo Recruitment is seeking a qualified Automotive Site Supervisor for a prominent player in the industrial automation sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various sites and must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry.

Position OverviewThe Automotive Site Supervisor will support the Site Manager in preparing sites for production activities, ensuring that all tasks are executed according to the project timeline.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the system/line from design to customer acceptance.
- Assist the Site Manager in resource allocation and workload management.
- Engage and motivate the site team to meet project objectives.
- Support the Site Manager in evaluating tenders and managing site planning and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Manage known risks and respond effectively to unforeseen events.
- Facilitate supplier activities and attend regular review meetings.
- Ensure quality milestones are met according to the project schedule.
- Assist in maintaining best practices for site management.
- Review project drawings and specifications to understand project scope and resource needs.
- Coordinate the efforts of employees and contractors, reporting to the Site Manager.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
- Familiarity with various welding and sealing technologies.
- Knowledge of motion control systems and robotics.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience in project planning and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: Minimum of ten years in a relevant field.
- Languages: Intermediate English; a second language is advantageous.
Salary ranges from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, based on experience, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
