Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer monthly payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure staff members are paid correctly, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Process maternity, paternity, and shared parental pay calculations in line with customer policies and expectations.
- Update payroll systems with up-to-date rates, including pay rates, allowance values, pension deductions, NI rates, and tax thresholds.
- Produce reports, analyzing and interpreting data to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of HMRC requirements and payroll legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
