About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team at SJB Medical. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions impact their work life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity
  • Develop and maintain accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP)
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive assessments
  • Provide sensitive and compassionate support to individuals during the assessment process

Requirements

  • Qualified Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic with a strong clinical background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using a range of software and technology
