Job Title: Clinical Healthcare Assessor

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Assessor to join our team at SJB Medical. As a Clinical Healthcare Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity and ability to work.
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather medical history, perform physical examinations, and produce accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
  • Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video, demonstrating sensitivity, compassion, and best practice standards.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure high-quality assessment delivery and customer service.

Requirements

  • Qualified Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic with a strong clinical background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse individuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and commitment to maintaining professional standards.
