We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Rokstone Group. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our pricing models, working closely with underwriting teams to ensure accurate and effective risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical pricing models that reflect the underwriter's view of risk and are user-friendly for the underwriting team.
- Utilize MI from subsequent raters to inform underwriting strategy, model calibration, and reserving considerations.
- Provide risk pricing support for assigned classes of business, including quotes and premium threshold analysis.
- Contribute to annual business planning, forecasting portfolio performance, and recommending target rate changes or adequacy based on RS targets and market dynamics.
- University degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent).
- Experience working closely with underwriting teams on technical pricing and influencing commercial decisions.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in R or Python.
- Previous experience and good understanding of reserving is preferred but not essential.
