Assistant Head Housekeeper

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in the efficient operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Support with the recruitment, training, and people management of Supervisors and Housekeepers, promoting a positive and professional team culture.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, maintaining effective communication with colleagues and other departments.
  • Contribute to the purchasing, delivery, storage, and distribution of housekeeping inventory and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a hospitality management role, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on driving standards and correcting issues in the moment.
  • Previous experience with OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
