**Job Title:** A Level English Lecturer

**Job Type:** Temporary, with potential for permanency

**Location:** Nuneaton

**Hourly Rate:** £25 - £30 inclusive of holiday pay

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced A Level English Lecturer to join our team on a full-time temporary basis. This role offers the potential for permanency, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Deliver engaging and informative lectures to A Level English students
* Prepare lesson plans and curriculum materials in line with educational standards
* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments and examinations
* Provide feedback and support to students to aid their academic development
* Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the college's academic standards
* Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of the department

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

* A degree in English or a closely related field
* A recognised teaching qualification
* Proven experience in teaching A Level English
* Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students
