As a Night Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our young residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and Care: Provide individualized support and care to our young residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and emotional support.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of our residents by maintaining a safe and clean living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and reporting any incidents or concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, reporting incidents, and coordinating with other team members.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Experience working with children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and patient, with a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to learn and develop.
