About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our team at United Living Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective SHEQ strategies and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on SHEQ matters, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement training programs on SHEQ best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of SHEQ-related data, including incident reports, near-miss investigations, and compliance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SHEQ regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a SHEQ-related role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ, Diploma, or Environmental qualification (e.g., IEMA).
  • Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to SHEQ-related challenges.
