As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our team, working alongside experienced professionals to provide personalized care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and emotional support to individuals dealing with psychiatric conditions, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities and therapeutic interventions as directed by the clinical team, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all service users.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, working effectively with other professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Monitor and report on client progress, maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safeguarding procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and effective care experience.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Mental Health Support role is essential, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable.
