Director of Energy Engineering
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Energy Engineering to lead our Structural Engineering team in delivering Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design services for offshore wind, interconnectors, and energy transition projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide inspirational leadership to the Structural Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver structural engineering services, ensuring compliance with industry design standards.
- Lead Structural Engineering excellence and deliverables through tenders, feasibility studies, and project specifications.
- Ensure projects and tenders are delivered in accordance with Evolv Energies and client engineering requirements.
- Assign necessary Structural Engineering and technical resources to projects throughout tendering and delivery.
- Ensure sound engineering practices and innovation are incorporated into designs to deliver value for clients.
- Promote and manage safety in design across projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Be a Chartered Engineer with demonstrable Structural Engineering expertise in offshore wind and a detailed understanding of engineering deliverables.
- Have significant previous experience in a structural engineering management role.
