Job Title: Shift LeaderWe're looking for a skilled Shift Leader to join our team at Blank Street. As a Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of baristas and ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Craft beautiful coffee products and serve customers with energy, warmth, and empathy
- Support the General Manager and Training Team to train new employees and ensure they're following all recipes and training for menu items and processes
- Open and close the location safely and responsibly, and ensure that cleaning duties are followed at the beginning, during, and end of the shift
- Handle minor customer issues in a positive and solution-focused way
- Lead initiatives with the operations and marketing teams to increase foot traffic, new customers, daily sales, and operational profitability, and develop a loyal neighbourhood customer base
- Experience in the customer service or hospitality industry
- Availability that meets the needs of our cafes (full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days of availability required, with a minimum of 2 peak days per week)
