We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Platform Engineer to join our team at Onyx-Conseil, a successful financial services organisation in the Lake District, as we undergo a Cloud Transformation.

This role will involve defining the cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap, as well as overseeing the stability, performance, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap
  • Oversee cloud platform stability, performance, maintenance, and improvement
  • Expertise in Azure cloud-based infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, full cloud networking, cloud infrastructure security best practices, Azure-AD, monitoring & alerting tools, and CI/CD tooling
  • Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Azure cloud-based infrastructure
  • Infrastructure as Code (terraform/BICEP) experience
  • Full cloud networking knowledge
  • Cloud infrastructure security best practices
  • Azure-AD (Entra-ID) experience
  • Monitoring & alerting tools expertise
  • CI/CD tooling experience
  • Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments
