Nursery Assistant Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant Manager at our new nursery in Farnborough. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery and providing exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including compliance with registration and legislative requirements.
  • Proactively engage with children, taking an active role in their care, learning, and development, while supporting staff in all aspects of their role.
  • Take responsibility for quality and audits across the setting, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and retention of staff, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Manage employment relations issues, including probation reviews, flexible working, grievances, attendance management, and disciplinary issues.
  • Support the Nursery Manager in managing the nursery's budget and occupancy.

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification and DBS check.
  • A higher childcare qualification and/or a management or leadership qualification.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a childcare setting.
