Nursery Manager Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Nursery Manager to lead our new nursery in Farnborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery, including staff recruitment and management, marketing and promoting the nursery to achieve occupancy targets, and managing the nursery's budget. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and compliant nursery environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high standards of care and education, ensuring the effective implementation of Toad Hall's initiatives such as our Early Language Programme and Cook and Grow.
* Effectively lead and manage the staff team, including recruitment and retention, providing day-to-day guidance, training, and support to all staff.
* Keep yourself and your team up to date on current early childhood thinking and trends, responding to any developments in a proactive way.
* Effectively manage the nursery budget and occupancy levels.
* Develop strong parent partnerships and provide added value services to parents.
* Market the nursery and engage with local networking groups to build occupancy.
* Manage all day-to-day operations of the nursery.

Requirements

* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification and DBS check are essential. A higher childcare qualification and/or a management or leadership qualification are desirable.
* Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high standards of care and education.
* Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
