RG Consultancy is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing firm seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to enhance their finance department on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a vital part in supporting various accounting functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting general ledger reconciliations
  • Managing accruals and pre-payments
  • Overseeing fixed assets and depreciation with monthly and annual assessments
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts within specified deadlines
  • Performing sales analysis and conducting investigations
  • Forecasting sales, cost of sales, and cash flow
  • Reviewing the annual budget
  • Generating month-end, mid-month, and ad-hoc reports

This position is well-suited for individuals with prior experience at the Assistant Accountant level who are eager to broaden their expertise and transition into a management accountant role, or for those with management accounts experience ready to support the Financial Controller in all accounting matters.
