Exciting Opportunity in Community Children's Health

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Community Nurse Specialist to join our progressive community nursing team. This full-time position offers a rewarding role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children and their families in the community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive nursing care and support to children and young people in community settings
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing safeguarding measures to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Leading and managing the work of others to maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Adhering to NMC regulations and code of conduct, ensuring professional development and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Child branch/RSCN qualification and extensive experience in community nursing
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with patients and families
  • Experience in care planning, safeguarding, and patient advocacy
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
