Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Fixed Systems team. This role is pivotal in supporting our objectives for growth and innovation within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical and mechanical systems tailored to customer specifications using Crowcon control systems.
  • Prepare detailed quotations for Fixed Systems projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and timelines.
  • Engage with sales teams and clients to clarify project specifications and system needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of information solutions, including remote displays and communication packages.
  • Generate system configurations that meet customer Cause & Effect criteria.
  • Compile comprehensive Bills of Materials and manage entries in the company ERP system.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely assembly and testing of systems before delivery.
  • Develop and provide Operation and Maintenance Manuals along with customer documentation.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from stakeholders and clients.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with various departments as necessary.
  • Attend customer sites for system support as required.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Engage in training and certification programs necessary for site work.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or HNC in engineering, electronics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical systems and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in technical sales or project management is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost estimation capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Skilled in project management with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in managing customer change requests and tracking project progress.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to meet customer needs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with gas detection systems and relevant on-site experience.
