We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Excellence Manager to join our team at the General Dental Council. As a key member of our Regulation Directorate, you will play a critical role in driving continuous quality improvement and operational excellence across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee performance monitoring and compliance within the Regulation Directorate, ensuring that our business processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Use data and management information to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions to drive business process excellence.
- Act as a trouble-shooter, responding to urgent operational demands and designing and implementing solutions to address issues that impact our operations and performance.
- Assist the Executive Director and their direct reports in developing and implementing continuous quality improvement programs.
- Provide line management and operational cover for department heads during periods of absence or leave, as required.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment, with a strong understanding of business process improvement and operational excellence.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and challenge others to achieve goals and pursue excellence.
- Project management experience, ideally with a strong understanding of Agile methodology and its application to business process improvement.
- Commitment to equality and diversity, with a strong understanding of the importance of inclusive and diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
The General Dental Council is a professional regulatory body responsible for protecting patient safety and maintaining public confidence in dental services. We register qualified dental professionals, set standards for the dental team, investigate complaints about dental professionals' fitness to practise, and work to ensure the quality of dental education.
