About the Role

Mondelēz International is seeking a Process Excellence Specialist to join our team in Bournville Manufacturing. As a key member of our Manufacturing operations, you will work closely with line operators and technicians to eliminate losses and drive improvement in reliability and stability of line operations and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solving technical problems of high scope, complexity, and ambiguity
  • Identifying problems in existing products or processes and proposing solutions
  • Working with the Engineering Manager to determine the need for training and talent development, hiring and interviewing engineering employees and support
  • Drive Process reliability and stability by solving the chronic problems on the line
  • Understand process variability on line and define systems to eliminate them
  • Define critical process parameters and centre-lines; track and ensure adherence
  • Give technical confirmation to any request or project proposal that affects the process or equipment
  • Process data gathering and issues analysis
  • Implement and maintain systems to collect, collate and analyse data on key process parameters
  • Identify and prioritise process capability issues for performance or cost
  • Use FI systems to build capability of operators and technicians
  • Develop and deliver training and skills improvements

Requirements

  • Proven track record within Manufacturing within the Consumer Goods or Food industry or wider manufacturing industry
  • The ability to work on multi projects
  • Hitting deadlines to ensure agreed turnaround times are met for completion of project documents
  • Excellent numeracy skills with a proven track record in providing project documentation such as hydraulic schematics, design calculations, test procedures etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Educated to degree or equivalent level in an Engineering
