Architectural Design Leadership Role at Recra Consulting

Recra Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural & CAD Design Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire architectural design process, ensuring the creation of innovative and high-quality designs that meet client needs and industry standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide the architectural design process, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software and design tools to develop precise and detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and specifications, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Mentor and support the CAD team, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth within a dynamic environment.
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors and construction teams throughout the construction phase, safeguarding design integrity.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and coordination throughout the design process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and CAD design.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; a Master's degree is highly advantageous.
  • Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, particularly with Autodesk Inventor. Familiarity with parametric control /iLogic is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on CAD software applications.
  • Mastery of CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills to motivate and inspire your team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • A well-curated portfolio showcasing your past architectural designs and CAD work.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction/manufacturing drawings.
