Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Design Manager to lead our architectural design process and manage our CAD team. As the Architectural Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring high-quality and innovative designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the architectural design process, ensuring that designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models.
  • Review and evaluate architectural designs to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and specifications.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the CAD team, ensuring their professional development and growth.
  • Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during the construction phase to ensure that design intent is maintained.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in architecture and CAD design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Excellent 3D CAD modeling skills, with experience using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Good knowledge of parametric control/iLogic is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on CAD software.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing your previous architectural designs and CAD work.
  • Proficiency in reading construction/manufacturing drawings.
